Environment

We want to step away from using sustainability as a marketing tool and make it a matter of course in everything we do. Taking responsibility and protecting our environment is not an option but a must. By assessing our supplier‘s impact proven within reports and certificates we ensure that everyone who works with us follows the same goal and most importantly we only usenatural or recycled materials and deadstock fabrics.

Initiatives

The Business Social Compliance Initiative
(BSCI) provides their members with a
system that helps them to gradually
improve working conditions in their supply
chain following a strong code of conduct.

Sedex is a membership
organisation providing practical tools,
services and a
community network to help
companies improve their
responsible and sustainable business
practices, and source responsibly.

The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETS) is a
community working together to tackle
complex questions about what steps
companies should take to trade ethically,
and how to make a positive difference in
the workers lives.

Certificates

The Global Organic Textile
Standard (GOTS) defines
world-wide recognised
requirements for organic textiles.

The Organic Content Standard (OCS)
confirms the presence and amount of
organic material in a final product and
tracks the flow of the raw materials from
its source to the final product as a third party.

The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)
is a voluntary standard that addresses
the welfare of sheep and the land they
graze on.

Mulesing is a quick method of
controlling flystrike in merino sheep,
resulting in poor welfare both during and
after the procedure and it is categorized
as cruel and painful by PETA, who advise
more humane alternatives.

The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is
an international, voluntary, full product
standard that sets
requirements for third-party
certification of recycled content.

Deadstock is not an official certification
but we designed a label to describe
fabrics that are leftover and would techni-
cally go to waste but can still be used for
other production.
